ResortInternet installs WiMax Equipment to cover Keystone Valley Properties

FRISCO, CO – August 15, 2008 - ResortInternet, the premier provider of high speed Internet service (“HSIS”) to Colorado’s destination resort properties, announced today that it has successfully installed and activated and is now providing its services using new WiMax (wireless) technology equipment at Keystone.

Since starting business operations in the spring of 2003 in the Keystone Resort area in Colorado, ResortInternet now has over 5,600 HSIS in 150 resort properties in Colorado’s destination ski resort areas; covering the geographical area from Winter Park to Aspen.

According to Eric Geis, President; “After considerable technical and market research and analysis, we made the strategic decision to become a facilities-based high speed Internet provider, so that we could provide more reliable and higher quality bandwidth to our current and future customers. Our Company’s rapid growth over the last 5 years clearly indicated that we needed to have control of the bandwidth, rather than rely on 3rd parties for this important piece of our complete cost-effective and reliable service offerings.

Bernie Reynoso, VP of Engineering and Customer Support; added “With our installation and activation of WiMax technology – which is a very new technology – we can provide dramatically increased bandwidth speeds and have more opportunities to expand our product line to include Digital Phone Service (VoIP), advanced entertainment services, video security and other exciting new services. In addition, we have greater abilities to electronically monitor and remotely manage what is happening in our network and thereby provide a better user experience, since we now control the bandwidth. Also the WiMax equipment deployed uses a different frequency than most WiSPs(Wireless ISPs) that has little to no interference thus allowing us to provide a much better quality of service to our customers”

Geis continued, “While we introduced WiMax at Keystone, which was our first operating market 5 years ago, we have aggressive plans for deploying WiMax wireless service at several of our other service areas over the next 18 months. We believe we are one of the first Internet Service Providers to install and operate WiMax in any resort area of Colorado.

ResortInternet installs 5,000th High Speed Internet Customer

DENVER, CO – November 5, 2007 - ResortInternet, the premier provider of high speed Internet service (“HSIS”) to Colorado destination resort properties, announced today that it has installed its 5,000th high speed Internet subscriber.

Since starting business operations in the spring of 2003 in the Keystone Resort area in Colorado, ResortInternet now has over 5,000 HSIS in 150 resort properties in Colorado’s destination ski resort areas; covering the geographical area from Winter Park to Aspen.

According to Eric Geis, President; “Our Company’s rapid success over the last 4½ years is clear validation of our Company’s vision that condo owners in resort areas need and want reliable, cost-effective high speed Internet service for their resort or 2nd home. Their need to “stay-in-touch” while on vacation and to make their property more competitive in the rental and re-sale markets have fueled our growth. Homeowners and guests staying at Colorado’s top tier resorts expect reliable high speed Internet service and responsive support when needed – and they get that superior level of service from ResortInternet.”
He added, “Every one of our HSIS contracts which have come up for renewal – has been renewed! That shows that our exceptionally responsive integrated Customer and Technical Support, electronic monitoring, and our locally based field technicians have exceeded the expectations of these discriminating customers.”

WiFi (wireless) high speed Internet service is now an expected - and requested - amenity by today’s highly mobile and sophisticated visitor in Colorado’s destination resort properties. Studies have shown that vacationers who can stay in touch with their offices and extended families take more and longer vacations. High Speed Internet Service is one way that can be accomplished.

ResortInternet expands Business Model to New Construction

DDENVER, CO – July 20, 2007 - ResortInternet, the premier provider of high speed Internet service (“HSIS”) to Colorado destination resort properties, announced today that it has signed agreements with two newly constructed lodges in Summit County, where it will provide its WiFi High Speed Internet Service to homeowners and guests. These 2 additional properties bring the total number of resort properties served in Colorado by ResortInternet to 150.

The two new lodges include; Blue Sky Breckenridge with convenient ski-in location in Breckenridge to open early this Fall and Timberline Cove with spectacular views of Dillon Lake and the Ten Mile Range which just opened.

According to Eric Geis ResortInternet’s founder and President, “Traditionally, we have installed our reliable High Speed Internet Service in lodges which are already constructed and occupied, but we have witnessed a radical change, since we started the company in 2003! Now we find developers actually designing our WiFi systems into their new properties in the concept phase.”

HOA’s and Property Management Companies often ask, “When is the best time to install High Speed Internet Service in our condominium property?” It is best and most cost-effective to plan our High Speed Internet Service into the buildings design and easiest to install while the building is still in construction. However, installation is not the only factor in making it easier. Developers have found that it can be an easy decision for them, since today’s 2nd home buyers make their buying decision on the amenities a resort property offers, and High Speed Internet Service is one of the most sought after features in new properties. For the Sales Department wireless High Speed Internet Service provides another amenity that potential homeowners are looking for.

In addition to WiFi and wired equipment installation ResortInternet, is well known for providing ongoing cost-effective and reliable High Speed Internet Service, which includes its 24 hour direct help line and continuous electronic monitoring to ensure satisfied homeowners and guests.

RResortInternet expands its Wireless (WiFi) High Speed Internet Service in Snowmass

DENVER, CO – May 25, 2007 - ResortInternet, the premier provider of high speed Internet service (“HSIS”) to Colorado destination resort properties, announced today that it has signed agreements with two additional Homeowner Associations in Snowmass Village where it will provide its WiFi High Speed Internet Service to homeowners and guests. These 2 additional properties bring to nine the total number of resorts properties served in the Snowmass Village area by ResortInternet.

As in the other Colorado destination resorts where it provides its cost-effective reliable HSIS, 2nd homeowners and guests not only expect but often demand HSIS in their condos while on vacation. A recent Intel corporate survey shows that more than 53% of all travelers take their computers on vacation – and this number is expected to grow dramatically over the next few years, since guests who can “stay in touch” while on vacation tend to take more vacations and stay longer.

The two new Condominium Hotels signing Agreements are Chamonix and Enclave Condominiums, both managed by Snowmass Lodging Company and supported by Dan DiMaria, Systems Administrator. Dan said “the deciding factors in selecting ResortInternet were their accessibility, their local technical staff and their focus on customer support when it’s needed by our homeowners and guests”. He continued, “they came in and talked with us to ensure they knew what we wanted, conducted a comprehensive site survey, and gave us a very cost-effective Proposal. I was impressed. I spoke with other property managers in Snowmass Village and Aspen served by ResortInternet and in all cases – their references and comments were outstanding!”

According to Eric Geis ResortInternet’s founder and President, “every one of our employees is extremely proud of the high quality of service we provide to our users. When you provide exceptionally responsive customer support to owners and guests at a fair price, your customer base grows. We started in the Aspen/Snowmass resort area almost 3 years ago, and we have been expanding there since we introduced our “resort-centric HSIS”.

ResortInternet Signs 10th Lodge Property in Aspen

DENVER, CO – August 31, 2004 - ResortInternet, the premier provider of high speed Internet service (“HSIS”) to Colorado resort properties, announced today that it has now signed its 10th Aspen premier resort property!

Since starting its HSIS operations in Aspen earlier this year, ResortInternet now has over 500 HSIS subscribers in the Aspen area. Aspen’s progressive Property Management companies and HOA Boards realize that in order to effectively compete for destination visitors’ dollars and to increase lodge occupancy, they need ResortInternet’s HSIS solutions to meet and exceed their homeowners and customer’s expectations.

With more than 20 HSIS proposals still pending in Aspen, ResortInternet is confident that its success during the 4th quarter – traditionally its busiest quarter – will continue and that several additional premier Aspen resort lodges will be installed prior to the high occupancy Christmas season.

RESORTINTERNET PROVIDES UNIQUE HIGH SPEED INTERNET SERVICE TO TENDERFOOT LODGE IN KEYSTONE, CO

DENVER, CO – June 30, 2003 - ResortInternet a new provider of high speed Internet service (“HSIS”) in Summit and Eagle Counties announced today that it completed installation of its dependable and cost-effective high speed Internet service at Tenderfoot Lodge in Keystone. “The Tenderfoot HOA Board selected ResortInternet’s program because of its cost-effective pricing and its unique feature of providing the service only to those homeowners who want the HSIS – and not forcing it on those that don’t,” according to Russ Camp, Tenderfoot HOA President. Almost 35% of the homeowners at Tenderfoot subscribed to the service, he added.

ResortInternet is a joint venture between EGP, LLP, headed by Eric Geis a telecom executive with over 25 years of experience and a founder of Rhythms NetConnections previously one of the largest providers of DSL service in the country, and Wavelength Commercial Communications an 18 year old Denver based company providing cable, satellite & wireless systems in Colorado. ResortInternet provides its high speed internet services to HOAs, resorts and lodges. ResortInternet installs the equipment, configures the connection to the Internet and provides a Complete Customer Support Package for its customers. The company has recently signed agreements for providing its services in Breckenridge and Beaver Creek in addition to Keystone.

According to Eric Geis President of ResortInternet, the company was established because of the lack of viable cost-effective high speed Internet service in the Summit & Eagle county and surrounding areas. He said, “after spending 25 years in this industry, and not finding viable solutions for high speed Internet service, I became frustrated and decided to set up a company to service this region. He added “we were right, the acceptance for our unique approach, and the demand for high speed Internet has been overwhelming.

Remarks from initial HSIS users at Tenderfoot support the company’s claims. “Used the high speed this weekend ... works great.” reported Scott Claymon a Tenderfoot homeowner. Craig Poarch, a full time Summit resident added “Just wanted to let you know that the HSIS is great. I tested our unit on Thursday. Thanks for getting it installed on time and on budget.” Back to top
